[b]Hello![/b] Here are the rules by which we recruit new members to [color=darkblue]Citizens of Azeroth[/color], and the rules that CoA guild members should abide by. They're not complicated, really just trying to keep our guild one that will be respected by everyone.


[b][color=darkred]NEW RECRUITS[/color][/b]
For possible new recruits:

 • they must be [color=darkblue]minimum level 12[/color]
 • they must have at least [color=darkblue]1 referral[/color] from an existing CoA member
 • they [color=darkblue]cannot be an alt from another guild[/color]
 

[b][color=darkred]COA MEMBERS[/color][/b]
For Citizens of Azeroth members:

 • don't ask for money -- from ANYONE
 • please don't ask for stuff that you'll just sell or disenchant
 • please keep it to English in guild chat

These are the rules you [i]must[/i] follow; this doesn't mean that anything not on this list is OK. Use your common sense and treat your guildmates with respect.


[b][color=darkred]PROMOTION[/color][/b]
All new members will keep the rank of "Recruit" for a minimum of three days to filter out those that won't be playing for long. Recruits that aren't online regularly for those three days may have their trial period extended. 

Recruits must register in the guild forums before being promoted to full Members.

After six weeks, players with the rank of "Member" are considered for promotion to the rank of "Veteran". A poll will be posted in the officer's forum allowing other officers to agree or object.

New officers can be nominated by another officer, and will have a poll posted in the officer's forum to decide whether they are promoted or not.

 • [color=darkblue]Founder[/color]s - one of the original players who created CoA
 • [color=darkblue]Commander[/color]s - next in line to become Guild Master; guild leaders


[b][color=darkred]DEMOTION/REMOVAL[/color][/b]
Members who have not informed an officer beforehand will be removed after 2 months offline for full members, or 10 days for recruits. They are welcome to rejoin the guild at any time, and full members will be sent an in-game mail inviting them to return.

It is extremely rare for anyone to be removed or demoted for any other reason, and any situation will be dealt with on a case-by-base basis.
