Change Log:

404 (09-12-09)

+ There was a bug that dodged my sight and spells weren't shown properly, nor some of them worked.

403 (09-12-09)

+ TOC update to 30300. (Patch 3.3)

402 (19-11-2009)

+ Changed some things to make it slightly more efficient.

+ Fixed a typo in the data.

+ The addon consume a bit more memory but the overall performance is improved, previously I used to iterate over all the data table to find out a certain spell, there's no need to do that now.

+ The class spells and effects are now being copied over when the addon is loaded to reconstruct the spells ranks and have a much smaller data table to work with.

+ Added a NetBSD license.

401 (19-11-2009)

+ Fixed a bug that raised an error if you were in a BG and it tried to display a message.

+ The warlock affliction spell 'Eradication' was added to the data.

400 (18-11-2009)

+ TOC update to 30200. (Patch 3.2)

+ The layout file is now part of the data addon.

+ The global data table moved and it's now part of the addon's table scope.

+ The fctMode was removed from the layout, if you specified the display to show in fct (Blizzatd floating combat text) then it's going to rely on the mode you set through the blizzard interface.

+ CC spells added to the data (Only few spells were added it's currently experimental although it should work perfectly fine.)

+ Missed is now showing to the end of the display message. e.g. Hammer of Justice . (IMMUNE)

+ There's a new 'mode' option so it's now possible to restrict spells to show either when casted on players or mobs.

+ There's a new "message" option which you can use to reformat the display message.

+ The 'castStart' flag was removed.

+ Speci...

Description:

LonnySpellAlert is an addon that can alert you about important combat events such as buffs, debuffs, abilities and almost any kind of spell that you want to keep track of.

Currently the addon doesn't have an in-game UI, it needs zero configuration and it's very easy to add, modify or remove anything to your liking.

The data addon contains a Data.lua file and a Layout.lua that defines the spells information as well as display data.

The addon is very lightweight, it also important to note that the addon has no localization due to the way it structure and should work for any locale.

Slash Commands

/lsa debug

/lsa debug 'spell name or id'

/lsa debug 'spell name or id' target

/lsa debug 'spell name or id' target event

/lsa debug off

The more information you provide the less verbose it becomes, the second option is pretty straightfoward and most recommanded.
